I take my garage seriously. More seriously than most, I think. When I moved in to the house we live in, I installed pegboard across 3 walls, with GFCI outlets on their own breaker peeking through. I installed a phone in my garage. I built a massive custom cabinet that holds 24 Rubbermaid totes. I am going to be painting the floor of the garage this summer with epoxy. I'm a garage nerd. Mrs. Neubauten finds that incredibly sexy, even though she doesn't say it.
Last summer's garage project was to install a set of speakers in the ceiling, with the speaker wire running in to a cabinet over my workbench. I put an outlet in the cabinet as well, to run a small stereo. The problem was that the speakers were 8-ohm and the little stereo was only designed to push 4-ohm. Needless to say, I killed the stereo. My wife was delighted.

Okay. This will pay off massively for anyone with the tenacity to perform all of the steps exactly as outlined. If you follow this recipe and have less than incredible results, I will refund your entire annual Ronin membership dues. That's my promise.
Okay here goes:
This is actually several recipes in one. I'll outline the marinade, rub, mop, and BBQ sauce recipes first, then move on to the actual cooking (since that's the order you'll be moving in as you reproduce this ). The BBQ sauce recipe is particularly popular, so I usually make a double batch and can part of it.

So I have spent the majority of my WoW time leveling and playing Neubauten. But it wasn't always so...
My first toon, and my favorite to play for a long time, was Moflibbity the NE rogue. Rogues and pallies are apples and oranges. They're about as different as two classes can be.
Now that Neub is all grown up and off to raiding, I find that there is a lack of "stuff to do". I have all the good-ish loot that I want from Scholo/Strat, I can easily make 10-20G in a 90 minute SM solo run, and questing for cash seems silly since I'm going to want to level again soon.
So I'm playing Moflib more.
Ran it again for about the bajillionth time last night. I find that I'm more concerned about how quickly we can do it than I am about being able to finish. Last night was about 1:45 I think we could easily trim some time off of that by skipping Kirtonos, skipping titles, skipping Jandice, and chain pulling the summoner room. We had a couple of deaths last night, but were never anywhere near a wipe.
Great run to all who participated (especially the PUG priest who got the only epic drop).
I'm starting to get a little burned out on Scholo. Looking forward to ZG and Strat.

So running endgame instances is different than pre-60 instances/raids. There are 2 in particular that can be very challenging for new endgame players: Scholomance and Undead Strat.
The difference between these instances and earlier ones like ST, SM, Uldaman is that they require a much higher degree of group coordination. Each boss/miniboss requires a tactical discussion. Failing to follow the plan, in most cases, leads directly to a wipe. Alexi Barov, for example, is one of the toughest minibosses you'll ever meet if you don't have a plan. I can't count the number of times that guy killed our party...before we came up with a strategy. Now we make him wear his ass as a hat.

I am now at 15000+ rep with AD. Well beyond the halfway point to exaulted. It has been some of the most mierable, mind-numbing grinding of all time. I have learned a few things, though:
1.) I can take 8 of those 51-54 undead guys in WPL at a time. It took me a while to learn the routine, but I can finish off a bunch of them now without dropping below 30% health. It's pretty mana-intensive if you don't control your seals/judgements correctly, but totally doable.
2.) The best place to grind from 50-60 is the same as the best place to get AD rep. That is WPL. No question, no contest. Let's just ignore the fact that you're gaining AD rep galore by grinding there. The fantastic amounts of runcloth that drop make it worthwhile. Plus, you're near Scholo/Strat which is where you'll be spending a lot of (training) time.

The ridiculous conversations I have with my friends
Submitted by Neubauten on October 24, 2006 - 3:35pm.
So Ironshiek and I often have conversations that seem reasonable at the time, but in retrospect are sort of over-the top. We had one of those today via email. Here are the excerpts:
Neubauten wrote:(The fact that your Valor head piece has not dropped is) Not as improbable as it seems. You have a 1:8 chance of seeing it no matter how many times you run the instance. That doesn’t mean you’re going to see it at least once in 8 tries, just that there is 1 chance in 8 for you to see it each run. You may never get it. As someone who has run Scholo as many (if not more) times than you, I understand your pain but urge you to keep it in perspective.
