You could have just gone out

You could have just gone out and gotten a sound card if your mic port stopped working. That happened to me too, but instead of my mic port, it was my speaker port that stopped working. So I went out and got a new sound card...

What sucked is that the new card's mic port was so sensitive, it was catching the noise my PC's fans make and everyone on vent was telling me about it. Apperantly it was really loud.
