I just wanted to take a moment to remind our players of an unfortunate phenomenon that occurs with 5-man instances, since we have a bunch of new ones. We have been blessed in the last several months to not have to deal with it, but with the release of BC it's cropping up again. I'm talking about 5-man overflow.
What happens (all too often) is that we have a great core group of, say, 3 people looking to run an instance. They start spamming the guild channel for 2 more and find another group of 3 that's LFG. Well, someone is going to get left out. That's a bummer, but it's the rules of the game. Nothing personal, not a slight, not a statement about the "extra" person(s) as a player or a friend.
The party leader (along with the others already in the group) have to make a choice about which of the volunteer players they want in the group. It is the responsibility of the leader to make a decision that is best for the group. That means that you might get excluded because of your class. It also means that you might get excluded because you eat chips into your microphone on Vent. Probably more the former than the latter (although I've seen both).
Either way, don't waste your time worrying about why you're not in a particular group and CERTAINLY don't waste your energy wondering "do they like me?". Go make a new group, or join a BG, or farm your way to a flying mount, or whatever (you could even post a run on the site and become the party leader yourself!).
Remember, above all it's a game like basketball or street hockey or whatever. Be a good sport, play the game as best you can and the groups will find you.
