Not for the bank, for our guildmembers. About the only request the bank gets outside of tabards is bags.

So for our tailors what is a reasonable bag to keep on hand? I'm thinking runecloth. What mats do you need?

How's the bank actually work?

So, I'm kind of new to this whole Guild thing. The guild in which I had...ahem..."membership" before should have been named The Guild of Do-Nothing. I'm glad that the activity with this guild (if only the chatter on the guild channel) is exponentially better.

I'm perplexed, though, about the bank. How's the guild bank work, and what's it's purpose? Cheers in advance!

The guild bank

Ah, the bank. The idea is that when we're out adventuring in the world (of Warcraft) and we come across a recipe, BOE item, bag, etc. that we don't need, we send it to the bank. The "bank" is an alt of one of our council members and his name is Bankofronin.

Our tireless banker (Greysea) then uploads the contents of the bank through RPG Outfitter, where it can be viewed via the internet. If there's something in there you want/need, ask the bank for it and it shall be yours. The only request is that you then donate something of comparable value to keep the "bank balance" up.

It's an easy way for our fortunate membership to get their hands on items (i.e. recipes) that they might not come across themselves. Additionally, it lets the guild hang on to a certain amount of cash which is used to buy tabards for new members, materials for repair bots on raids, etc.

Our banker is too pissed at the moment to log on, though, since his copy of TBC has been delayed.
