Here’s the definition of Ronin from Wikipedia. Historically, "It was undesirable to be a ronin, as it meant being without a stipend."
I think, as a policy, anyone in game who questions our guild name should be murdered.

Yes, I thought it was fitting to when I heard it. I also remember hearing though that you could be a ronin if your lord was killed. Which still means you had no lord.
I thought "Ronin" referred to a delicious noodle dish. This "masterless warrior" stuff is just plain silly.
I vote we change the guild name to "Ramen." MMMMMM, delicious ramen. Here's a link:

What about the yakisoba? Don't forget about that very delicious asian noodle treat.

ronin
\Ro"nin"\, n. [Jap. r[=o]-nin, fr. Chin. lang profligate, lawless + j[^e]n (old sound n[=i]n) man.] In Japan, under the feudal system, a samurai who had renounced his clan or who had been discharged or ostracized and had become a wanderer without a lord; an outcast; an outlaw.
I like to think it is a warrior without a master, which is quite fitting if you think about it.
