ZG Snake and Bat fights

We did these two bosses on our first try.

Snake Boss

The easiest of all ZG boss,there are two general strategies to this boss: (1) kill 4 snakes first then boss and (2) kill boss while CC the snakes. From practice, (1) seem easier because it frees up mages/druid to watch their CC and also reduce risk of loose snake killing the healers.

Assign at least 3 snakes to 3 mages/druids. OT will then walk up the platform and pull them down. On the way, mages/druid will CC their snakes while MT will taunt the boss to a corner of the room, 30 yard away from others. Everyone else assist OT to kill snakes one at a time until all snakes are killed. Then everyone will do range DPS (except two rogues who may move forward) until 50%, Phase 2. Priests should dispel her renewal asap. On Phase 2, all will have to stay back except MT. Boss will do a green poison cloud which MT will have to move out quickly (tank her while constantly moving) while everyone else do range DPS, 30 yard away. Mages will have to watch out for that 1hp snake that goes after healer and then AOE them away. Healers keep MT alive (ie, ignore all other class..they can bandage themselves) and this should be an easy fight.

Bat Boss

MT will move forward to aggo the boss and then tank her at least 30 yard away from the group. The rest of the group has to gather close together, ideally around the healers. The boss will call a group of bats every 20 sec which will generally go after the healers. Mages/Locks will have to pay attention and AOE them away.

When bats comes, priests have to keep mages alive. No mages = wipe
The second is not so obvious: the mages and healers generally only have enough mana to deal with 2 wave of bats. If the 3rd comes, even if the raid survived, the mages and priests will be oom that we will wipe in phase 2. So this really is a DPS fight, to bring the boss down to 50% in 59 sec or less.
Phase 2, she will do two nasty thing: (1) she will cast (greater) heal on herself which heals 100k or more hp (2) there will be a flying bat that will throw fire bomb at random people.

To deal with (1), rogues will have to kick, warriors will bash and mages will counterspell. Yes, even if the message say "immune", the CS will stop her healing..she is immune to the silent part thats all. If she gets one heal in, it is likely a wipe. If she gets more then 2 heal in, its a confirmed wipe.

(2) is what kill most of the raid. There is no trick to it..everyone will have to scatter (break up from the ball formation), tank keep the boss moving around and get out of the fire as soon as possible and bandage yourself. Dont expect heals from healers.

Keep MT alive, dont let her heal herself, stay out of the fire spot and its not so difficult.
