Tabard Design Contest!

As you have probably noticed, our grey tabard does very little to suggest the kind of fun-loving, butt-kicking, horde-pwning guild we are. So we're going to have a contest for the new tabard design.

The entry fee will be 1G per tabard, and you may enter as many designs as you like. We'll vote in a couple of weeks, and the winning design will collect all that fat,fat loot!

Here is the design site.

Just post your design in this thread, then send the entrance fee to BankofRonin via in-game mail. Make sure you give your design a unique name so that voting will be easy. If you have any trouble posting your design, let us know in this thread and we'll arrange to get you help.

The mobius represents enternity, which is how long it takes to get a BOP valor drop out of Scholo or Strat. We can all relate with that, I think.

The background color is subdued so as not to stand out too much, and the design is simple so that people may come to recognize it over time (fear/respect us).

Mormont's First Tabard...

I really like the 8-pointed arrow of chaos...but I think you should be able to see it. Here are a couple of pics that show it on Mormont. Note the skull border is done in black, which can be seen in-game yet is still subtle enough to look cool imo. Note that tabards look different on toons than they do on the curse website. Everyone Read This Please!

Can everyone please link a picture of a screenshot with your tabard displayed on a toon, because they can look quite different in-game than the curse site depending on the color scheme.

One example of this is that when you use the curse "tabard only" link the picture shows a white outline around the border and emblem, yet that is not available in-game. For an example of this look at Greysea's post, which shows the "tabard only" and the full page link, and you will see what I mean. The only way to really know what we are getting is to have screenshots from in-game.
