Lets hope that Blizz can sort this out. Maybe they can restore a previous version of Dreplen thats only a few days back or something. FFXI did that for me, i had left the game for longer than the time period allotted and when i returned my character was deleted, but when i called them, they said they were able to restore my character to the last time he was saved.

if not, i told Dreplen i would help him both monetarily, and quest wise to get back to 60 as fast as he could. I hope others can volunteer to help a fellow Ronin.

Also, i received a couple ingame mails from Blizz explaining that if i am going to use third party software to make sure it is from a reliable source. They also explained that a few accounts have been hacked via this manner, an untrustworthy addon had a hidden keylogger virus.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Will spy-ware scans help against this? or anti-virus software? personally, i cannot give up my addons, but then again they come from cosmos itself, CT MOD website, and a couple from Cursegaming... lets hope this doesn't happen again.

Jeez Drep, I hope that the folks at Blizzard can help you. If you are forced to start over (I hope not), you have more than a few friends in the guild who will happily help you. Anything you need, let us know.

If there’s anything I can do to help let me know. Like Pallas says, I’ll help you with any money you need or get you back to 60 if Blizzard can’t restore Dreplen. Hopefully they can. Contact Billing & Account Services team by emailing or by calling (800)592-5499 (Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm PST).

If you haven’t sorted out how you got hacked you might want to check out a program like HijackThis. Past the log into this window and it well tell you what's good and bad. At least as much as it can.

For everyone else this is a good reminder that, if nothing else, you need to change your password often.

Okay Dreplen I spoke with a respresenative today from Blizzard and they said that it is definitely possible that you can get your Toon restored. You need to place the GM ticket in and they will contact you.. Then once that has happened or before you need to contact Blizzard at 1-800-592-5499 in order to reset your account password. I was glad to hear that you could reset your toon, atleast you don't lose everything. Let me know how it goes and if I can help I am more than ready.

Man that really sux. But I know what you are going through, sort of. One day I logged on and while waiting for it to load went to the bathroom. My brother thought it would be funny to mess with my toon a little bit, so he deleted it. Blizzard came through a few days later having restored my toon, but sadly they were unable to recover my money and lost possession's, but they did supply me with relatively good gear for my level. Either way if you do or don't get your toon back I would gladly help you get it back. I'd do this as a friend and someone with a similar experience.
